DGVCL New Connection Application Online

1. Login to GUVNL Portal. OPEN PORTAL
2. EXISTING USER : Begin with LOGIN process enter your REGISTERED mobile number and select DISCOM as DGVCL and login the portal with OTP.
3. NEW USER : If not an user then please check the post of DGVCL registration by clicking on this link => How to register ?
4. First Enter your registered Mobile Number and select DISCOM as DGVCL and then click Login.

5. Click on New Connection.

6. There will be two options. LT and HT. Select LT ( LT connection are for home use. ( Village or City )

7. A New form will get open.

8. Application is divided into 5 steps.

• Applicant Details : New Consumer Details
• Load Entry : The Load ( kw ) of Equipment Used In The House
• Document Upload : New Connection Related Document Attachment
• A1 Form Download : After Adding All Details A1 for will get generated which you will need to download.
• Disclaimer Acceptance & Payment : Last Step.

Title	Miss : This title is used before an unmarried woman’s name, It’s typically used for young girls or unmarried women. Mr.: This title is used for a man’s name and is a standard form of address for adult males. Whether he is married or not. Mrs :This title is used before a married woman’s name. It’s often used to signify that a woman is married. Ms : This title is used for a woman’s name and is a standard form of address for adult woman. Whether she is married or not. Dr : This title is used for any Degree holder who has a degree related to Doctor or If a person has a degree which says Dr. before his name. ( Please contact to your nearest office before selecting this option ) Sir : ( Please contact your nearest office before selecting this option )
Full Name	Full Name of the applicant in CAPITAL LETTER. ( Ex : AMITABHBHAI HARIVANSHBHAI BACHHAN ). This name must be same as your Identity document.
Purpose	Residential
Area Type	RURAL : For Village Area URBAN : For City Area
Land Property / Area	Select GAMTAL ( Please contact your nearest office if outside of Gamtal or you have any doubt. )
Nearest Detail	Light Bill Consumer number of neighbor ( Paadosi ). Full 11 digit consumer number only. This will help to adjust your bill near to the consumer number you provided.
Address 1	Add your full address. Address of the house for which the new connection is to be taken.
Address 2	Optional or you Can divide address in 1 and 2
State	Gujarat
District	Your District Name From Dropdown Menu
Taluka	Your Taluka Name From Dropdown Menu
Pin Code	Your Postal Pin code ( Optional : If you have add it or you can leave blank )
Contact Type	Mobile / Landline
Mobile Number	Add your current Mobile Number. OTP will be sent on this number only.
Email Address	Add your Email Address ( Gmail / Yahoo / Microsoft / Apple ) etc..
Latitude / Longitude	Optional : If you have add it or you can leave blank
Click Proceed	Proceed
Enter OTP	OTP will be sent to your mobile number, add the same OTP and Click Submit OTP.

LOAD DETALS :

• HOW TO SELECT ( OTHERS 4 or OTHERS 3 ). Both are valid for LT Connection For Home. Select any one and add Load according to your home appliances. ( Make sure you add correct load as per your appliances )

• Select Unit Value from dropdown. ( Note : 1000 W is equal to 1 kilo watt ( kw ) )
• Total will be 1000.
• Verify in the below mentioned total boxes. You will see ( KW = 1.00 )
• Click on SUBMIT

NOTE	A New Page will get open were you can download the A1 Filled Form.
NOTE	First Download A1 Form by clicking on the link “View your Application (A1 Form)” as link mentioned in the image below and then click on Download button. Once the A1 Form get downloaded please Check and Verify all the filled details are accurate and correct before Paying the amount.
NOTE	Once the form details are verified and you are sure everything is fine then choose the option to Pay Now.

MAKE PAYMENT & RECEIPT DOWNLOAD :

Please read and accept the terms and conditions and Check the box and click on Submit.

After Clicked on Submit please follow the mentioned point below :

1. In the next page enter the Application number which you can find in the A1 FORM and Captcha code same as shown in the image and Click on Search button. ( Please keep the SR. No / App No, selected )
2. In the next page you will be able to see all the details page Like : Customer Name / Application Number / Application Type / Billed Amount / Registration Charges / SD ( Security Deposit ) / Total Amount.

3. Click On Pay Now Button.

4. Now You Will See DISCLAIMER BOX. Click on Continue..

• Select Your Preferred Payment Option.
• NOTE : The amount below is an Example Amount not actual amount charges for name change.

5. Once the Payment Done Successfully You will see a DETAILED RECEPT and the same can be download or Print.

STATUS : You can now track the application status on the same portal with Application Number By Clicking on Check Application Status as shown in the image below.

POINTS TO CONSIDERED AFTER SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION.

• After Successful payment against your application Application will be forwarded to CPC User at Corporate Office. CPC User will check the Application Form Details and the uploaded documents carefully.
• During the verification process of all the details including the documents, if any Query / Issue found they may reject the application for the suitable reason or hold and put into the Query.
• Most Common Reason For Rejection or In Hold ( Query) : If the uploaded documents are not clear or not correct or not legal or have any discrepancy in it, the application can get rejected or may they allow the applicant to edit the details and re-upload the document as mentioned in the application form on the same portal with the same application number.
• After adjusting or re-submission of the document it will be again sent to the authority person to re-verify it. You can keep tracking on the Application Status by visiting the portal with the correct application number.
• That’s how the online application forms get filed and submitted.
