PGVCL Name Change Application Online – Name Transfer

Follow the below mentioned steps to fill and submit Name Change application form online from your mobile device or computer.

How to change name in PGVCL light bill Online :

1. Open: GUVNL PORTAL website in your browser.

2. Login to the site with OTP. If you are not an registered user then you must register on the E-vidhyut Seva portal and add consumer number first for online application. Please check the post to know how to get register and add Consumer No on GUVNL portal for PGVCL DISCOM => How to Register ? & How to Add Consumer No ?

3. After Login Click on the LT Name Change mentioned on the Left Side Drawer Panel List.

4. Click on “LT Name Change“.

5. If you have More Than 1 Consumer then please make sure to Select the Correct Customer Number and the Correct Category in which you want to Change the Name and then click on Submit button.

6 A New Page will get open with 4 Step submission process as mentioned below.

Application Is Divided into 4 Easy Stage :

• Applicant Detail
• Document Upload
• A1 Form Download
• Disclaimer Acceptance & Payment

1. Type New Name. ( The New Name You Want In Your Bill )
2. Select Reason For Name Change. ( This selection must be done carefully.)
3. Security Deposit. ( This selection must be done carefully. )

Which Security Deposit ( SD ) option should be selected ?

• Entire new security deposit to be paid by the new customer.

In case the property is purchased then select the first option that is : Entire amount to be paid by consumer : because the old customer can get the security deposit refunded on their demand and application if done.

• Difference amount to be paid by the new customer

In case if the property is an inherited property then choose the second option that is : Difference amount to be paid by the new customer. In this case the adjustment will be carried out with the Old Security Deposit Amount and the remaining adjustment amount only need to be paid .

• Old Security Deposit Amount Already Paid by consumer

In this box the Old Deposited Security Deposit ( SD ) will be shown .

NOTE : In case you are not sure or having any doubt please contact your nearest PGVCL office before selecting SD or Name Change reason option.

6. Attach All Document Copies by uploading it in the below mentioned page with proper Size as mentioned below.

1. Photo Graph : Passport Size Photo.. Uploading Size 20 kb Max. Format : .jpeg.
2. Signature : Add your Signature Copy. Uploading Size 20 kb Max. Format : .jpeg.
3. Photo Identity Proof : Any One ( Passport , Driving License , Aadhaar Card, Election Card, PAN Card etc. Format :.pdf.
4. Ownership Proof : Proof Of Ownership Certificate Issued By Government Body, Dastavej copy, Latest Municipal Tax Receipt, Index Copy ( Akarani Letter ),,Property Card or choose from other available option as per your choice. Format :.pdf.
5. Consent of partner on Rs. 300/- Stamp (Duly notarized) if property is jointly owned : In case if the Property Ownership is between more than 1 person. ( Joint Property ), then Notarized Consent Letter of all member on a Stamp Paper of Rs. 300/- .must be uploaded.
6. Click Submit
7. A New Page will get open were you can download the A1 Filled Form.
8. NOTE : First Download A1 Form by clicking on the link “View your Application (A1 Form)” as link mentioned in the image below and then click on Download button. Once the A1 Form get downloaded please Check and Verify all the filled details are accurate and correct before Paying the amount.
9. Once the form details are verified and you are sure everything is fine then choose the option to Pay Now.

AFTER CLICKED ON PAY NOW FOLLOW THE MENTIONED POINT BELOW :

1. Please read and accept the terms and conditions and Check the box and click on Submit.
2. Then in the next page enter the Captcha code same as shown and Click on Search button.
3. In the next page you will be able to see all the details page Like : Customer Name / Application Number / Application Type / Billed Amount / Registration Charges / SD ( Security Deposit ) / Total Amount.

4. Click On Pay Now Button.

5. You Will See DISCLAIMER BOX. Click on Continue..

• Select Your Preferred Payment Option.
• NOTE : The amount below is an Example Amount not actual amount charges for name change.

6. Once the Payment Done Successfully You will see a DETAILED RECEPT and the same can be download or Print.

STATUS : You can now track the application status on the same portal with Application Number By Clicking on Check Application Status.

POINTS TO CONSIDERED AFTER SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION.

• After Successful payment against your application Application will be forwarded to CPC User at Corporate Office. CPC User will check the Application Form Details and the uploaded documents carefully.
• During the verification process of all the details including the documents, if any Query / Issue found they may reject the application for the suitable reason or hold and put into the Query.
• Most Common Reason For Rejection or In Hold ( Query) : If the uploaded documents are not clear or not correct or not legal or have any discrepancy in it, the application can get rejected or may they allow the applicant to edit the details and re-upload the document as mentioned in the application form on the same portal with the same application number.
• After adjusting or re-submission of the document it will be again sent to the authority person to re-verify it. You can keep tracking on the Application Status by visiting the portal with the correct application number.
• That’s how the online application forms get filed and submitted.
