Google Pay Electricity Bill Payment Guide

1. Open Google Pay Application on your Android or IOS device.
2. On the main page click on Pay Bills.
3. Then Select Electricity from all available options.
4. Search PGVCL or any company name in the search bar at the top. For example, PGVCL.
5. Once it appears, click on it.
6. If you’re paying for the first time, you will need to enter your 11 Digit consumer number.
7. Add a Nick Name. For example: PGVCL.
8. Click on Continue.
9. It will search for the consumer number, and if found, you will see a Found a match window at the bottom.
10. Click on Link button.
11. It will take you to the Review Your Account Information page. Verify your Name / Consumer No & Nickname you just entered.
12. If everything matches as per your bill, click on Link Account button at the bottom.
13. After successful account linked to Google Pay, your Amount / Bill Date / Bill Number will be shown to you.
14. If everything matches, then click on Pay Bill.
15. Now you can see a screen where your final paying amount / consumer number and option to pay method get displayed.
16. If you already have a UPI linked with Google Pay, it will automatically select your UPI and Bank Account. If not, choose a payment method as per your choice.
17. Once you click Pay button, it will ask you to enter your UPI pin number.
18. Enter the UPI Pin number and click on Submit.
19. After a successful transaction, it will display your paid amount, Biller name, and transaction ID.
20. Congratulations! You have paid your first bill with Google Pay.
21. Next time, Google Pay will automatically remind you about your bill payment and due date as soon as your new bill gets generated by your biller. Also, next time you only need to select the saved biller and click Pay.
